Stress and death

Good news...my mother's doing well in the hospital. The surgery was a success and she's recovering very well. We're hoping she'll be out by this weekend (she was admitted on June 1st).

Good news...finals so far are going well. 2 more to go.

Good news...roommate is almost gone. counting down the days.

Bad news...my great-grandmother betty, who was 101, passed away last night in her sleep. I was very close to my grandmother and loved her dearly...and have really been hit hard with it. I'll be putting up an art piece dedicated to her soon.

Other news...my cat is adorable and sleeps funny. Wire wrapping jewelry design is fun and will be getting more supplies thursday...and have actually gotten time again to cross stitch.

So..good and bad news in there = stress. yay. *sighs* i'm ok. just needed a slight vent there.

Yeah...another way to look at it is...she's lived through 2 world wars, the great depression, the 50's, the 60's, the 70's....korean war, vietnam war, gulf war, cold war....and others too i'm sure...plus through all this bs going on right now.
